Our Story
From Healing Arts to Candlelight
After years in the healing arts, I left the city behind in search of more space, quiet, and a slower way of living. On dark winter evenings on the Dingle Peninsula, I discovered a new kind of calm through beeswax and flame.
What began at a kitchen table grew slowly into a luminous offering of pure beeswax candles that are made slowly in small batches.
My dog Bowie is never far away, a steady companion through each pour and each wrapped piece.

From wax to wrap, each element is selected with care on Ireland’s west coast.
Our Wax
We work with pure beeswax sourced from southern Germany and supplied to us as meeting the raw material requirements of RAL 041, including defined purity criteria. In our Irish studio, each candle is hand-poured without paraffin or added fragrance oils. Our candles carry the subtle natural scent of beeswax and burn with a warm, golden glow.
Our Wicks
Pillars: cotton wicks.
Tins: Cotton wicks with a metal sustainer.
Tealights & Votives: Cotton and paper wicks with a small metal sustainer.
Our Dye
For our two-tone Twilight pieces, we use supplier-certified vegan candle dye, chosen to complement the natural tone of beeswax.
Considered packaging
Each element is chosen to protect your candle while avoiding unnecessary packaging.
Our Cups & Glass
Tealight Cups: Aluminium cups (recycling depends on local facilities)
Glass Tealight & Votive Holders: Glass holders selected for candle use. Reusable and recyclable where local facilities exist.
Our Sleeves & Packaging
Candle Sleeves: Paper sleeves and seals chosen to keep packaging simple.
Cotton Bag: Natural cotton, printed with our logo. Made to be reused for gifting or storage.
Outer Packaging
Cartons, paper materials, stickers and tape are paper-based or recycled paper where specified by the supplier. Recyclability depends on local facilities.
Our Collaborators
We work with a small circle of makers and suppliers whose materials and services reflect our focus on quality and our materials are sourced from producers and suppliers in Ireland, the EU, and Canada.
Sleeves and labels are printed in County Offaly by The Factory.
We support Reforest Nation and their work restoring native woodland in Ireland.

Made With Care
Each of our beeswax candles is hand-poured in small batches on Ireland’s west coast, on the Dingle Peninsula.
